Yes on Prop 8

Since moving to California, Kris and I have been actively involved in the YES on Proposition 8 Campaign. We have willingly given up our time and resources to help in this effort. Why? We feel strongly about its potentially negative consequences on the family should it not pass. I have read and studied the issue and am convinced that the YES vote is the only vote I can give. There are many reasons why we are voting YES on Prop 8 come November 4th. For those of you who may not be familiar with this issue, or you're just not sure why a YES vote is so important, please visit the Protect Marriage website, or take a moment to view this video. It pretty much sums up our reasons for voting YES.

This may be a silly question but is Proposition 8 something that every gets to vote on or just those in California? P.S. You're boys are darling.

That's not a silly question at all. Prop 8 is for the state of California. However, in Arizona they are voting on a similiar issue called Prop 102. They are trying to prevent what happened in California from happening there by writing it into the state constitution as opposed to just a state law (as it's written now). Even if you don't live in either state you can help by donating at protectmarriage.com, or just letting people know about it. Getting the word out is SO important! Thanks Christy!

Isn't it so sad that we even have to deal with something like this. Here in AZ we will be voting on a similar prop, it just makes me sick to think of what would happen if prop 8 (CA) and prop 102 (AZ) don't pass to protect marriage.
